February 3rd, 2019 - Faith: Evidence of Things Not Seen

February 8, 2019

I want to give you two definitions of Faith, but I promise I’ll explain them. First, let’s look at the scriptures for a definition. In Hebrews, we are told, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” This might not clarify things all to well, but let’s get one more working definition then begin our journey- though this might temporarily muddy the waters even more. Thomas Aquinas tells us faith is The habit of the mind (Intellect) whereby eternal life is begun in us making the intellect assent to what is not evident.

If you still need the explaination, listen in!
